The cab has been moved forward with respect to the turret to improve the visibility of the operator, being seat closest to the fork. We have also added a second access to the cab; on the opposite side of the chassis. Entering the cabin you can immediately see how the door locks at 180 degrees and can be easily unlocked from the ground.
The new cabin is equipped with the “easy access system”, a pending patent by Magni, which allows you to block the rotation of the machine so as to allow easier entry into the cabin. The interiors of the cabin have been completely redone, all the upholstery has been created with injection molding to have extreme precision in the details and finishes. When the door is opened, courtesy lights – positioned under the seat armrests and under the push- button panel are immediately turned on. These lights are dimmable. The overall visibility of the cab has been improved by increasing the glass surface. The cabin is equipped as standard with sun blinds to ensure operator comfort.
Windshield visibility has been improved by having wiper motor housed at the bottom and having vents that are always open that guarantee constant air flow to defrost/demist or clear the windows. Again with a view to improving visibility, the steering column has been thinned while maintaining all the adjustment standards.
Another patent present in the cabin are the controls with warning light when a control cannot be executed for safety reasons. The operator is immediately warned with lights in correspondence with the selected function.
A practical pocket for objects has been inserted into the upholstery, housed under the right armrest. A practical thermal cup holder has also been included, designed for operators who work hours on the vehicle. In the upper part of the cabin, two technical compartments have been inserted to contain most of the electrical control units, fuses and diagnostic sockets, in order to simplify extraordinary and ordinary maintenance of the vehicle. In the rear part, behind the seat, the remote control has been housed in a dedicated case – to protect it from dirt, wear and accidents. The seat has also been renewed with the addition of two armrests with courtesy lights included.
Throughout the RTH range, it was also implemented a rear camera standard to control the area of rear maneuver. Pictures were then integrated into the Touch Screen present on the vehicle. This possibility is available as option in the TH and HTH ranges.
Two 12 or 7 inch displays will be available depending on the model selected. The software has been unified for the whole range, always with a view to improving the diagnostics and speeding up the control and updating operations.
The load charts screen is available in three versions:
- the standard display – as per previous display –
- the dynamic in real time where you see only the area where you can move with the load safely
- the dynamic view from above.
Perfectly ergonomic, the left joystick is available in 3 variants to meet every need of the operator. The right joystick is differentiated for the RTH /HTH and TH, have 2 variants for the complete customization of movements.
The dashboard has been adapted and unified for all Magni ranges. A subnet to the CAN BUS has also been created to manage the analogic buttons on the on- board console. All buttons are equipped with light to indicate activation.
