From 13 to 17 May 2024, Kramer presented the new generation of 8-series wheel loaders at IFAT, represented by the 8095T. The 5065e e-wheel loader was also on display. Both machines are particularly interesting for use in the municipal sector. For the handling and recycling industry, two machines from Kramer’s blue industrial line were on display at the Kiesel stand (ITL55-7 and IRL12-55T), which has been sold exclusively by Kiesel since January 2024.
Zero emission – time for clean air
Electromobility is playing an increasingly important role for municipalities for low-noise work in sensitive environments such as residential areas, city centres, parks, zoos and regions with a high proportion of tourism. The machines operate very quietly and are completely free of CO2 emissions. This also makes it possible to work indoors without any restrictions.
The 5065e electric wheel loader is fitted with a 96-volt lithium-ion battery. It runs for up to 4 hours without intermediate charging. Four different charging plug options are available for charging the machines. It therefore makes no difference whether you charge at a conventional household socket, an industrial socket, a wallbox or a public charging point. The charging power is limited by the type of charging plug and the charging power of the on-board charger.
New generation of 8-series wheel loaders – work platform available ex works
Features, functions and comfort make driving with the premium series from Kramer a unique driving experience. Efficient, fuel-saving and modern – these are the characteristics of the new 8-series wheel loaders and telescopic wheel loaders (8085, 8095, 8105, 8115, 8085T and 8095T) in a nutshell.
- Depending on the model, the bucket tipping loads range from 3,650 to 4,250 kilograms.
- All models are equipped with a Deutz engine with 55 kW / 75 hp as standard, an engine with 74.4 kW / 100 hp is available as an option for the 8105, 8115 and 8095T models.
- The newly developed drive offers four drive modes (Power, Eco, Road, CSD).
- Whether for stacking, shovelling, pushing, sweeping or milling – the right setting can be selected for each application in order to carry out the work as efficiently and fuel-efficiently as possible. The cab, with two fully-fledged entrances and exits on each side of the cab, has also been completely redesigned.
- The folding armrest with joystick and function buttons is mounted on the driver’s seat and can be conveniently adjusted lengthways to suit the driver’s needs. The optional 7-inch display opens up a new world of machine settings and assistance systems. For example, the joystick sensitivity or the oil quantity of the 3rd control circuit can be adjusted using the jog dial.
- With Smart Steering, the driver can reduce the number of steering wheel turns required for the maximum steering angle. This means more productivity and fast turning manoeuvres, especially when working in the Y-cycle. The 8095T with working platform will be on display at IFAT.
Kramer is currently Kramer is currently one of the few German manufacturers to offer a certified work platform solution for wheel loaders and telescopic wheel loaders ex works. The Kramer work platform has been approved by the DGUV testing and certification centre and is BG Bau certified. The approval is valid for Germany and all countries that formally accept DGUV approval.
When using the work platform with a Kramer wheel loader, a high level of stability is generally guaranteed, which results from the proven Kramer machine concept with the undivided vehicle frame. The excellent off-road mobility of the Kramer wheel loader or telescopic wheel loader as a carrier vehicle also guarantees a high level of stability on uneven terrain or on descending and ascending roads.
