Augmented reality, online platforms, innovative impulses: Doppstadt Umwelttechnik GmbH is further expanding its range of training courses through the Doppstadt Academy. The high demand, including on the international market, underlines the relevance of the service offering. The Doppstadt Academy team is an integral part of the trade fair presence at IFAT Munich. From May 13 to 17, the company will be providing comprehensive information about the expanded training concept at the world’s leading trade fair for water, sewage, waste and raw materials management.
“Doppstadt Academy reflects our commitment to continuous innovation and development. By integrating augmented reality and mobile training, we are strengthening our offering and giving our customers the opportunity to gain even more insights into our technology” says Tobias Strob, Head of Doppstadt Academy. Shortly after the academy was founded in 2020, it quickly became clear that demand in the industry was enormous. As a result, the team grew to six employees within a very short space of time, all of whom deal with the needs of dealers and end customers. Doppstadt’s experts develop training courses that are precisely tailored to customers’ requirements and materials. The training courses teach the correct operation of the machines. This not only contributes to safety in the workplace, but also increases efficiency by avoiding downtime.
Doppstadt has set up a training platform for innovative knowledge transfer. “Our digital learning environment is a customized knowledge hub that offers customers individual documents and interactive tutorials. With a structure tailored to training courses, we enable targeted further training,” explains Strob. “The platform is also a step towards a sustainable future: as a pioneer in the field of innovative recycling solutions, we have created it to work paperless and do our bit for the environment“.
Doppstadt Academy at IFAT
With its wide range of products and services, Doppstadt Academy is an integral part of the trade fair presence at IFAT. Direct contact with customers at the industry event has a decisive advantage: the team can clarify important questions on site that are relevant to the design of end customer training courses. On request, Doppstadt’s experts can immediately prepare quotations, which can then be implemented at short notice by appointment. Following the positive response to Doppstadt Academy presentation at the last IFAT 2022, the team will be located directly behind the information desk this year, and will therefore be even more in the spotlight.
High demand abroad
The high demand for the Doppstadt Academy’s training courses is also evident in an international context. With over 500 training days planned for 2024, including around 200 abroad, Doppstadt continues to expand its offering. A current example of Doppstadt Academy’s international presence is the training course recently held for the Doppstadt dealer Stevens Group in New Zealand. In a ten-day training course, the employees received a comprehensive technical overview of the entire product portfolio on site. “The high demand is our incentive to further optimize our range with innovative technology in a market-oriented manner. We actively invite our dealers and customers to benefit from our training courses and shape the future of the recycling industry together” says Strob.
The Doppstadt Group will be exhibiting at IFAT 2024 from May 13 to 17, 2024 in the outdoor area FGL, booth 709/1, at trade fair Munich.
