The new, 140-square metre facility, located at its Spanish headquarters, is divided into two rooms. The first room is for classroom training of up to 15 people to ensure personalised, quality training. The second room has complete workbenches for practical work with engines, alternators and other generator components, as well as a range of simulators of all the controllers and ATS panels with which HIMOINSA generator sets work.
“The constant advances in technology require continuous learning”, says Jorge Torres, After-sales Manager at HIMOINSA. “Training technical staff is a vital part of the HIMOINSA production process. Only by giving training tools to the technicians who use our equipment all over the world can we guarantee a high-quality technical service”.
In this respect, HIMOINSA has designed a complete technical and practical programme that incorporates the latest technological developments and ensures that professionals are highly skilled in the use and maintenance of its generator sets. For that reason, training is always taken by HIMOINSA specialist engineers and technicians, over a long career path.
With a training capacity of more than 500 people per year, the new centre has an annual programme of specific courses on working with all the components of a generator set, from controllers and alternators, to engines and maintenance. The centre also offers the option to undertake personalised training, tailored to the specific needs of its service network.
