Stokkermill, an Italian company specialising in the design and construction of metal/non-metal recycling machinery and plants, will be exhibiting at Ecomondo Rimini 2023 in Hall A3, Stand 134.
At Stokkermill’s stand, you’ll be able to see the VM800 vertical shredder, a versatile system designed to perform the size reduction of materials to be sent to crushing or final separation processes.
The vertical mill has a number of advantages over other similar systems, including the ability to operate in the presence of residual ferrous or stainless steel materials, and requires less maintenance. The refining process carried out by the VM800 vertical mill gives the metals a spherical shape that facilitates the performance of downstream separation systems. The speed is controlled by an inverter to ensure the best result with heterogeneous materials.
The VM800 delaminating mill can be used, at the shredding stage of the electrical cable recycling process, replacing, under certain conditions, the traditional blade mills, which are still indispensable for the treatment of extremely thin cables, data and telephone cables. The vertical delaminating mill is manufactured in two versions with production capacities range from 500 to 3,000 kg/h. For upgrading the basic versions, Stokkermill offers customised solutions depending on the specificity of the input material and the quantities that can be processed.
In addition to the vertical mill, Ecomondo Rimini 2023 will be an opportunity to showcase other machines and equipment. In particular, the K-series cable granulators and the hammermill HM45 and HM60. Ample space will be given to specific treatment plants for solar panel recycling, alkaline battery recycling plants and lithium battery recycling plants.
